What is the difference between frontend and backend development?
Model answer
The frontend is everything the user sees and interacts with in the browser or app: pages, buttons, forms and layout, usually built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript or a framework such as React. The backend runs on a server and handles the logic behind it: storing data in a database, checking logins, processing payments and sending responses through an API.
A full stack developer works on both. For example, when you submit a login form, the frontend collects your details, and the backend checks them against the database and replies.
