How do you use TypeScript with React components?
Model answer
Type the props with an interface or type: function Card({ title, onSelect }: { title: string; onSelect: (id: number) => void }). Hooks infer types in most cases, and you add generics when needed: useState<User | null>(null). Event types such as React.ChangeEvent<HTMLInputElement> type handlers.
It catches wrong props and missing fields at build time.
