How do you keep stock records accurate?

Explain how you would count and record items: check deliveries against the delivery note, record any damage or shortage immediately, put items in their correct location, update the system or sheet as soon as stock moves, and take part in regular stock counts. When a difference appears, trace it back (picked wrongly, mislabelled, wrongly recorded) and correct the cause, not just the number.
