How do you deploy a React app to production?
Model answer
Run the build (npm run build) to produce static files, then serve them from a CDN or web server such as nginx, with a fallback to index.html so client-side routes work on refresh. Use hashed filenames with long cache headers for assets, short caching for index.html, HTTPS, and environment variables that are fixed at build time (for Vite, VITE_ prefix).
Add monitoring for errors and a CI pipeline that tests before deploying.
