What is the difference between client-side rendering, server-side rendering and static generation?
Model answer
Client-side rendering sends a mostly empty HTML page and builds the UI in the browser, which is simple but slower to first content and weaker for SEO. Server-side rendering builds HTML on each request. Static generation builds HTML ahead of time at build time.
SSR and SSG give faster first paint and better SEO. Frameworks like Next.js support all of these.
