The common choice today is Vite: npm create vite@latest my-app -- --template react, then npm install and npm run dev. Create React App is no longer recommended for new projects. For a full-stack app with routing and server rendering, many teams start with a framework such as Next.js or React Router.
The project has an index.html, a main entry file that mounts the app with createRoot, and a src folder with your components.
