What is MongoDB and how is it different from a SQL database?
Model answer
MongoDB is a document database. It stores data as JSON-like documents inside collections, and documents in one collection can have different fields. SQL databases store rows in tables with a fixed schema and use joins. MongoDB suits flexible, nested data. SQL suits strongly related data with many joins and strict constraints.
