What is a REST API?
Model answer
A REST API exposes resources (users, orders) at URLs and uses HTTP methods for actions: GET to read, POST to create, PUT or PATCH to update, DELETE to remove. Data usually travels as JSON, and each request is stateless, meaning the server does not remember earlier requests.
